Beautiful birds and wildlife in your gardens by Simon Tucker.

Join us for an evening with Simon who has a degree in Zoology and who joined the BTO Garden birdwatch Scheme in March 2003 eventually becoming an ambassador for the scheme. The talk will cover what wild life you can see in your gardens and what you can do to help

How to create a “GARDENING FOR WILD” by Charles Gilchrest

Charles Gilchrist is a garden adviser and conservationist.  He leads themed nature walks for the West Berkshire Conservation Society and is a contributor to their magazine ‘Upstream’ and speaks about conservation at their AGM’s.  To combine his interests of both gardening and natural history, Charles has given this talk to several local Horticultural Societies to let gardeners know what they can easily do to make their gardens more attractive for wildlife, without resorting to major projects such as starting a complete wildlife garden.

Our Specialist Speaker Pippa Bensley (AND ONE NOT TO MISS) has a wealth of experience in the Horticultural and floral world and was a plant buyer for Hilliers. Her talks are accompanied by beautiful coloured images.

Pippa was sent by the RHS to judge a floral design competition as part of an International jury. This is Pip’s story of the wonderful adventure with a quick glimpse of the beautiful country of China.
