Wreaths laid at the War Memorial in Winterbourne Earls on Remembrance Sunday 12 November 2023. In addition to those laid by Charles Penn, Chair of the Winterbournes Parish Council; Lt Col Ciaron Dyer, Commandant of DCBRNC Winterbourne Gunner and Lt Cdr Dennis Murphy RN, a fourth wreath was laid by retired Group Captain Neville Cooper, on behalf of the Singapore Association, Coastal Command - RAF Changi. Over 250 people, including many members of the young people's uniformed organisations, serving and retired military personnel and civilians from local communities, attended, to remember and give thanks for those who made such sacrifices in war, that we might live in peace.'
